Khai Seng worked for many years in former TADG Chairman Sun Bing Yen’s Sim Lim Group. However he only joined TADG in 1988 with his friend Chan Hay Kiong after some persuasion by former Honorary Secretary Chen Song He and upon recommendation by former council member Lin Chen Fu.
